Endymion smiled and chuckled again as Venus puffed out in her chest, inmitating him. "Can you roar, little Venus?" He asked the hatchling. His eyes flicked to Viper and Raven, smiling to see that the two getting along.

Viper grinned, in a rather goofy manner, as Raven agreed. He stood up and looked up at her, watching as she leapt into the air and hovering above them. He spread his wings, the membranes casting a green tint on the ground beneath his feet. He jumped into the air, flying up to meet Raven.

Venus looked up at Endymion, thinking about what he said. She stretched her small wings out as far as she could and opened her mouth. She didn't exactly roar, but she made a loud squeak. What surprised her, was a large puff of black smoke escaped her jaws, and she nearly choked herself. She coughed and shook her head, but looked up at Endymion and smiled like nothing happened.

Raven smiled as Viper joined her in the air. She started to fly next to him, her legs tucked up close to her belly. Her wings flapped as she scanned the land below. She smiled, this was the first time she's had a home since the day of her mother's death.

Viper smiled back at Raven as she flew next to him. "So," He said to her, "Anything in particular you want to see first?" There had to be something she wanted to see more than anything else. He just wasn't sure where to start, so he figured she might have an idea.

"That's very good for a start," Endymion said encouragingly, at loud squeak that came out of her, accompanied by a large puff of smoke, the beginning stages of fire breath. "Soon you'll be scaring every creature around, and burning down whole forests with one breath."

Raven tilted her head. "Perhaps those falls you mentioned earlier?" She asked turning her head to him. The corners of her mouth edging up into a smile.


Venus smiled when he said she did good. When he spoke again she stopped smiling and looked forward. She saw a ladybug and decided she was going to prove to Ender that she was already scary. Bounding up to the blade of grass the bug sat apon, she opened her jaws wide and let out the same squeak she had before, thankfully she didn't blow smoke this time. She looked back down and saw the ladybug still there. After a moment or two, it crawled to the top of the grass and flew off. Venus planted her rump on the ground and hung her head. She couldn't even scare a ladybug.


OCC: Aww, poor venus!

"Sure," Viper replied, smiling broadly back at her, "Lets go." He flew off, in the direction of the largest waterfalls, further in towards the center of the land.

Ender shook his head and smiled gently at Venus after she'd failed to scare the ladybug. He gave her an encouraging little nudge. "Don't look so downtrodden, Venus," He told her, "I was even older than you before I could scare a bug. It just takes practice."

Raven smiled and flew close behind Viper. Her glossy eyes scanned the land below her, seeing the trees whisk by.


Venus turned her head away when Endymion nudged her. She let out a sigh, her head hanging lower. When she heard that Ender had been older before he could scare a bug, she felt a little better. She looked up at him and smiled.

Suddenly, Venus's body tumbled to the side when a strange looking, 'not so clever' bird tried to snatch her up. She was small enough for the bird to get, so Venus squealed loudly and scrambled to her feet. She ran between Endymion's front legs and his behind his massive paw, her small body shaking.

Viper dove down as they grew closer to the waterfall. He landed near the edge of the pool that it flowed into. He sat down, looking up at the waterfall and waiting for Raven to join him. The sun was hitting the waterfall in way so that all the crystals behind it were sparkling in the sun.

Endymion let out a small roar at the bird that had tried to snatch up Venus, and snapped at it, narrowly missing pulling it straight out of the sky. The bird flew off quickly, and he was sure it would think twice about trying to hunt in his territory again. He lifted one paw to look down at Venus. "The bird is gone now, Venus," He told her, "You're safe now."

Venus squealed loudly when she heard Endymion's small roar. It rang hard in her ears, she didn't even want to know what his loud roar was like. When he lifted his paw to comfort her, Venu's small grey body launched over to his other paw. She pressed up against it, tight in a ball. She refused to move out from under him. Her small heart was racing, and she was sure it would stop.

Raven closed her wings slightly so she would propell down to earth. She landed next to Viper, and almost immediatly gasped. "Viper," She spoke, just above a whisper. The tight was breathtaking, and she wasn't sure Viper could hear her. "It's beauitful," She muttered, her eyes locked on the colorful gems behind the falls.

Endymion felt bad for scaring Venus liked he just had. It hadn't been his intention, he'd just meant to scare the bird. "Oh, Venus," He said in a gentle, apologetic tone, "I didn't mean to scare you, young one." He switched paws, gently moving his head down to nuzzle the frightened little ball of a dragon.

Viper gave a small smile at Raven's reaction, able to just make out what she said. "I'm glad you like it," He said, his voice quiet, "Want to see the best part? As long as you don't mind getting a little wet..."

Raven looked over at Viper, her lips upturning into a smile. "I don't mind at all," She said with a small chuckle.


Venus's body was still shaking, not only from the bird, but the fact that Endymion could roar louder than that....That right there, is what she was afraid of. The only other time she heard a roar...Was when her mother was being killed.

Her body as tight in a ball as it could, her big wet eyes looked up helplessy at Endymion. After a moment or two, she slowly sat up. She honestly wanted to be like Ender, she has envy for him. He was huge, massive, scary,amazing. She was a small speck compared to him. Oh how she wished she could be like him.

Had he known she'd never heard a proper roar before, except for when her mother had been killed, he wouldn't have done it all. He smiled gently at her as she sat up. "That's my girl," He said. One day she'd be the big one, protecting little hatchlings from ravenous birds. She just had to be patient.

]"Good, come on," Viper told Raven with a chuckle. He waded into the water of the pool that the waterfall emptied into, moving across it before passing under the cascade itself. He stepped into a large cave behind the water, which, like the wall behind the water, was covered in colored gems. He waited for Raven, eager to see what she thought.

Raven waded into the water after him, the cold water swallowing her smooth body. The water against her white scales made her seem to glow against the blue. She followed Viper, staying close as they neared their destination. When she stepped up into the cave with him, she didn't notice anything at first. She shook her body, most of the water falling off. "What now?" She asked turning her head to him.

Her eyes opened wider when she looked behind him. A small gasp escaped her and she looked up and around. It was filled with luminous gems of all colors. The sun coming through the water hit each one, sending lights and radiant colors everywhere. "I don't think you can show me anymore beautiful things," She said, eyes gazing around her, "I may not be able to take anymore," She said, a small chuckle coming from her. She looked at Viper, Raven smiled, which shot up into her eyes. "Thank you," She said softly.


Venus glanced up at Endymion, a small smile forming onto her small maw. She opened her mouth and yawned, her eyes closing slightly. Her small weak jaws closing, she opened her eyes wide, tyring her best to keep them open. She was indeed tired, ad she usually napped a lot, seeing as she was still so very young. Though, she didn't want to sleep. She started to tilt forward, making no effort to appear as if she would catch herself. When she was almost about to completely tip over, her body jerked back into place. She did the same, tilting to her left, once again she repeated and tried to hold herself up.

She continued to repeat the actions, fighting sleep. It wasn't going to win...yet. Her eyes drooping, she leaned to her right and almost fell over, but her wings snapped open and she stagged over, tumbling over her feet. It was useless, she could not defeat sleep. But, she wanted to be awake. She wanted to be with Endymion, she wanted to be with him forever.

OCC: I've seen a baby do what Venus was doing! It was so cute, he tried to stay awake but he failed and soon I put him to bed..lol

Viper chuckled lightly. "Fine then, no more beautiful things for you today," He said, then added in a teasing tone, "Though if you look at your reflection, its not my fault." As she looked at him, a smile on her face, he smiled back at her. "You're welcome," He told her softly.

Endymion shook his head as he saw the little hatchling yawned and then began to fight to stay awake, and upright. "You need to sleep," He told her, "Come on, little one. Into the den with you." He gently nudged her, trying to get her to move towards the large cave that he and Viper had made into their den.

Venus started to fit when Enymion told her to go to bed, but she ended up falling on her face again. Slowly getting to her feet, she walked, her nose grazing the ground as she moved. Her small grey body kept tilting to the sides, she even fell over once. She didn't know where she was going, but she kept walking. She opened her droopy eyes and saw she was in a cave.

Venus yawned again and her body collapsed. She opened her mouth and squeaked softly at Ender, and when she closed her mouth, the tip of her tongue was out. Her head leaned to the side and within seconds, she was fast asleep.

Raven's heart skipped a beat. Did he just imply that she was beautiful? She smiled and lookd away, a bit embarrased. Heart heart was racing in her chest, she was almost sure Viper would be able to hear it.

Endymion watched Venus like a hawk as she stumbled toward the cave, wanting make sure she got there unharmed. She fell over once, but was unfazed by it, getting back up and continuing inside. Soon as she had entered the cave, she had flopped over, squeaking softly at him before sleep claimed her. Ender settled down next to her, watching over her as she slept.

Viper could tell that Raven was embarrassed; but that had not been his intention. He really didn't know what his intention was. He'd never felt this way before, and he just sort of blurted out the first thing that came to his mind without thinking. That did not change the fact, of course, that he thought she really was beautiful. "So..." He said, trying to break the silence between them.
