Paytah flew into his lands, looking back every few seconds to make sure Amara was close. He was soon apon his resting grounds, and he stopped his body mid flight. He shot a glance at Amara, eyes telling her this is where they would land. He slowly flapped lighter and lighter, until finally his massive paws touched the ground. Teal eyes looked up at Amara as he waited patiently for her to join him in her new home.
The black brute thought of what would happen later today, and the following week. What if he did something and she left? Paytah already had some feelings for her, and the thought of losing her was a stab in his heart. He wanted Amara comfrotable, so he’d show her the best hunting spots he knew, and if she didn’t want to hunt, Paytah would be more then willing to do it for her. He knew of some caves, and he would escort Amara to them everynight, just so he would know he was safe and unharmed. Right now, anything she desired, Paytah would go to great lengths to get them. He wanted everything to be perfect for her. She deserved it.

[teal]Amara kept close to Paytah all along the way. She didn't break eye contact with him, even to look where they were going. When he stopped, she swerved around him, understanding the message in his eyes. She dove downward, opening her blue wings to slow her descent while she straightened up her body ready for landing. She landed soundlessly, her clawed paws touching for the first time her new home.
It was beautiful, there was no other words for it. Miles of grasslands stretched to the furthest most of the horizon, long grass wavering gently in the light wind. Her blue eyes widened with marvel, wanting to take in everything that was there. This was her new home, and she felt like she was too lucky to deserve it. A gentle male and a wonderful home. She couldn't ask for more. " [blue]This is wonderful. [/blue]" she said her voice quiet with awe. " [blue]Thanks for bringing me into your clan, and thank you for bringing me here. . . [/blue]" she said, after a moment's hesitation. She smiled at Paytah, true joy showing in her blue eyes.
OCC: Blagh, I don't know what happened between this morning and now. No muse at all. Like you![/teal]

Paytah nodded in agreement and watched and wind blow the waves of green. It was as if the ocean had followed them, but taken another form. Grass. He smiled as the words fluttered from Amara’s maw. “No need to thank me, Amara,” He said, his voice gentle and soft. “I am but one of the many you could have chosen from, so if there is need for thanks, it should be from me.” He looked into Amara’s blue stunning eyes. He could stare into her eyes forever, and be at peace, but then he might make her uncomfortable, staring at her. He looked away, his teal eyes watching his lands.
“Please,” Paytah said, still looking off into the horizon. He waited a few seconds before continuing, “If there ever is something you need, let me know. I want to make sure you’re happy here.” He said, his head finally turning to look at her. It was strange, everytime he looked at her, it was like he was rooted to spot. His heart beat was even, yet it jumped when she looked at him. He was happy, which isn’t an everyday thing. Maybe with Amara around, he could be more joyful, a little more fun. “Is there anything you would like to know, or see?” He questioned, curiousity edging it’s way into his warm voice.
Comments: You said the muse thing, now I’ve completely lost mine. Time to go get a map! Mood: Done cleaning! Whoohoo! Thoughts:Eh… Paytah’s thoughts: Please let her be happy with me.

[teal]She really did think what she was saying, for he could have chosen not to ask her to come here. There was no way she would have turned him down, that would have been quite impossible. After she had measured his personality, she couldn't have refused. The magnetic force of his unique personality and the irresistible attraction of his beautiful self had pulverized her resistance to nothing. She wanted to be with him, and that until her carcass was wiped off the face of the earth, which would not arrive soon. She was so lost in the admiration that triggered his presence that she nearly didn't hear the words he spoke, his warm voice completely mesmerizing. She tore her attention from him, focusing on concentrating herself to hear what he was saying.
A grinned blossomed most instantaneously on her maw as he spoke, realizing the truth in his words, but still being stubborn on keeping her view of it; the fact that he could have not asked her at all. As his teal eyes plunged into hers, she felt her mind capsize, disrupting everything that could have made her look away. No, she was never going to let him go, even if he died. A sharp, painful twinge in her heart stopped her from going further; already, the idea of losing him was too painful. She could have stayed there forever, looking at his incredible teal eyes. When he looked away, a strong feeling of disappointment flooded her brain before finally giving space for rational thinking. His next word brought a curious smile to her lips, and she tilted her head, wondering what possibly he wanted to ask her.
She would do anything for him, even fly to the end of the world to make him happy. She thought of the Faes that had wanted Paytah's attention at the beach, and wondered if they would do the same thing, or just were seeking attention. Amara wasn't the type to nose around for attention from males, it took something really strong to make her so dependent to a male's presence. That was what had happened with Paytah, she was now so in love, she couldn't think of wanting anything else than his company. When she finally tore herself from her romantic thoughts, she listened intently to what Paytah said. She didn't really need anything at that moment, her stomach was full and her thirst was quenched. " [blue]I'm fine thank you. [/blue]" she said smiling.
At his next question, she hesitated, wondering what she hoped to see. She thought about it, her claws taping with rhythm the soft earth, digging large holes in it's moist environment. She decided herself after a while. " [blue]I would like to see just the layout, a quick tour of the lands just so I don't get lost. [/blue]" she said, smirking at her last words. She would fly and fly until she found Paytah again, even if it meant days and days of flight. She looked into his mesmerizing gaze again, completely forgetting everything else around her. . .
OCC: Well, I've certainly found my muse again![/teal]

While waiting for a response, Paytah’s mind was elsewhere. He was trying greatly to get a foretaste of the future. He could picture him and Amara together, contented. But at the same time, he could see them torn apart, each with someone else. The contemplation of Amara parting was heart burning. They hadn’t even known each other for more than a few hours and already Paytah longed to be with her eternally. Another icon scraped his mind. He was older then her, but a few hundred years. What if, when he dies, what will she do? If they’re together that long, and he dies, what would he do. He couldn’t picture a life without Amara, and the feelings he felt for her poured from his eyes. His glossy teal orbs could practically speak for themselves, as if he never needed to actually talk.
Pulling himself gently from his thoughts, his teal eyes connected with hers. “If that is what you wish,” He said, his tone gentle and sweet. The fastest way for her to see the whole Terra was to be in the sky. A smile brought itself to his maw, a picture erupting in his mind. He could see himself flying in the sky, Amara right underneath him, their body’s almost touching. That would probably be one of the few ways they could be close in the sky without him harming her. His wings after all, made a large air current that could knock her clean out of the sky. He stood back from the blue Fae and flapped his large wings. Though they had only landed a few minutes ago, he would show her the lands and then they could come back down, possibly to the forest or the caves.
It was only seconds before Paytah was high in the air. His black body out of place amongst the orange and red sky…wait a minute, it’s getting dark. My, my, time flies when your in love. Though that brought up more thoughts which made Paytah’s smile widen. In his lands the night brought cold chills that usually sent him far into the back of his cave where it was warm. Either they could both go to the back of the cavern…or they could snuggle up together. Paytah couldn’t help but let a chuckle come from his chest. His eyes wandered to the fading sun as he waited patiently. Perhaps if this day goes well and they survive the night having to stay in the same cave close together, maybe tomorrow they can have fun. After all, there is a large river that goes in the middle of his lands. Maybe they can have a little water fun. Comments: None Mood: Tired Thoughts: Aww, Paytah likes her...a little mroe then like! Paytah’s thoughts: Let's snuggle up tonight!

[teal] Amara smiled at his words, and she ached to be in the sky with him. A new life was starting for her, and she was more than excited. She was leavin behind a life of danger and misery, to embrace a glorious future. She was living with her own prince charming, and that thought made a shiver of pleasure run down her spine. He walked away and flapped his wings to get into the sky, and she admired the power of his large wings, who lifted him with ease in the air. She was only a fraction of his size, and considerably lighter, so she needed less strength to get her into the sky.
She admired for a moment how the bright colours of the end of the day lightened his dark coloured scales; she couldn't have gotten herself a better male. She didn't regret at all of having accepted to come with him, and she knew she never would regret it. She wondered where she would be sleeping, but that quickly slid to the end of her priorities. The only thing that mattered now, was joining Paytah in the sky. She stood up, stretching her velvety blue wings. Crouching on the ground, her spring like muscles uncoiled in a graceful movemnent, sending her body rocketing into the sky. She climbed high, hovering near Paytah, waiting to see where they would go.

Paytah smiled and watched as Amara joined him in the air. He admired as her graceful body shifted through the sky. He nodded his head to the left and took off, fast, but slow enough so he wouldn’t leave Amara behind. He flew over a large lake, the water a deep blue-green. “This is the only water source here,” He said, locking his teal eyes with Amara’s. He was hovering for a few moments so he was sure Amara would know the area.
He turned and started off in the other direction, heading east. He showed her the hunting grounds, the lake, the plains where herds came to gather, and even a forest. There wasn’t much to his lands, but with the small amount he got, it was all beautiful.
Last, he started to spiral down toward the small woodland area. His mighty paws touched the ground, and he slowly stopped propelling his wings, letting them shift and rest on his sides. He waited until Amara was next to him before walking toward a large cave that slowly burrowed into the earth. It was made of rock, and Paytah had no idea where it had come from, but it was here. “This is the only cave, and it’s where we rest.” He said, turning his black body to her. “Anything else?” He asked, a playful smile spreading onto his muzzle.

[teal]Amara followed easily as Paytah sped through the air, his mighty black body cutting through the sky, powerful muscles rippling as he went along. She couldn't get over the fact that she was so lucky, she almost felt dazed just thinking about it. Was he feeling the same? Even if he wasn't, even if he went away, she would always be somewhere in a bush spying on him. She knew it wasn't polite, and he probably wouldn't go away, but she knew she wanted to spend the rest of her days alive with him. Sheer dumb luck, finding a male when she was barely out of her teenager years. Not many females had that chance, and she felt a spike of pride.
The first area they visited was a large lake, it's waters a beautiful greenish-blue. She nodded at his words, etching the direction, time of travel, configuration of the land and features safely into her memory. Then he turned and headed off in the other direction, and she followed eagerly. She took mental notes on everything: the hunting grounds, the plains and to her great surprise, a forest. By the time they were heading of again, she noticed how beautiful her new home was. She couldn't find words for this day, it was the best day of her life. Then Paytah started spiraling down, and she followed gracefully. Her paws made nearly no sound as they touched the ground, but she could feel the shake of the earth under the mighty black ones of her companion.
It was only when he started to walk toward it that she noticed the rocky cave. Made entirely out of rock, it sloped gently underground, offering a nice resting place for her and Paytah. When he turned to her, she nearly had guessed what he was about to say. So it was the only cave and place to rest, and she wasn't too disappointed that the day was finished. Her mind was emotionally tired, and her body had started to feel the ache. At his next question, she smiled. " [blue]Nothing else, really. But I think we can agree that the day is coming to an end, and it is time to sleep. [/blue]" she said, thinking if she would dare to sleep close to him. At that thought, her heart gave a jolt, as if it had received an electric shock. She walked closer to him, standing merely a foot apart from him. But she was thinking. . . Did she dare get a little more personal with him?

Paytah turned his black crania, eyes watching Amara’s every move. She moved with an elegance only a handful of dragons were gifted with. He closed his eyes half way, letting his tight muscles loosen. He was readying himself to rest for the night. His teal eyes looked past Amara, and he finally turned his head, looking at the sky darken. Soon, it would be as if he were not here. His black scales would bleed into the night; he would be a phantom of the stars. His beautiful eyes would glow, though, that would be the only way to tell he was here. Other then the fact you could hear the deep breaths going into his lungs, and the feeling of him near.
When Amara started slowly moving her small body toward him, Paytah kept his muscles relaxed. He could feel her spirit, the aura smooth and calm. He could hear her heart beat, it seemed to skip a few times but soon retreated into it’s normal spurt. Paytah’s eyes burned into hers. She had depth, her eyes endless, yet confusing. He couldn’t find what she was thinking about, and it made him a bit upset. Usually he could read other dragons in a split second, but now he had to stop and think. He had to ponder about her, and it was unusual, but unique.
He turned and extended a massive wing toward the cave. “Shall we?” He said, his tone friendly and warm. He couldn’t help it, he felt a smile tugging at the edges of his lips. He gave into the grin, turning and slowly starting to walk to the cave. His wing rested on his side again, and he stopped once to look at Amara, shooting her a welcoming look. He ambled into the cave, walking back deep into the cavern. He slowed and let a quiet moan escape his powerful jaws. He sank to the ground, enjoying the soft feeling of grass. Awkward enough, there was grass that grew at the back of the cave; it acted like a mattress to dragons. His eyes glowing slightly, they searched the sea of dark. He could see Amara’s body, and he stretched out. If she wanted to she could snuggle up right against him. He was pretty ‘soft’ as some had told him. Hatchlings, elders, middle age, many dragons that Paytah had come in contact with always were next to him. He and his clan always slept around Paytah. It was weird, and the black dragon didn’t understand, but he didn’t care.
If she wanted to lay by herself, Paytah wouldn’t stop her. It’s the first night, and if she felt nervous so sleep against him, he understood. Though making sure she knew the offer, he lifted onto wing up until it touched the low ceiling. She could lay under his protective embrace. Nothing would touch her. He kept his wing extended, an offering. If she refused, Paytah wouldn’t think much of it.

[teal]The full personal debate undergoing in Amara's mind couldn't be fully understanded, except if you were her. Her whole mind and body ached for his touch, for his contact, but at the same time, she didn't want to offend him. The other question was: would she dare do it herself? As he turned his massive head, she couldn't help but look intensely into his teal eyes, bottomless, deep, beautiful. . . She almost felt dizzy. As the night progressed, his black body started to blend into the darkness, erasing all visual detection. But she could hear his slow, deep breaths, the steady pounding of his heart, the just plain calm reassurance of his presence. She had never felt what is was like to be truly in love, and she was nearly astounded to have feared males in her youth. Now, she was fast and armed, not the little hatchling she had been.
Then, his teal eyes plunged into hers, and she gazed back intensly. She could almost feel he was wondering what she was thinking, but she didn't know what he was thinking, only that he was trying to read her thoughts. She tore herself from her thoughts when he extended his wing and talked, her eyes breaking the connection with his and flicking to the dark cave. She listened to every word he said, grasping onto them like a drowned person, etching them in the deepest and most untouchable parts of her memory. She followed as he started walking, her gait lively and of the most slightly excited. Tilting her head as he stopped and turned, she grinned at his welcoming look. Then he was off again, and she followed silently.
He led her to the back of the cave, where she felt grass still growing under her paws. It was soft, velvety and a perfect sleeping area. He lay down with a moan, and she came closer. She debated whether sleeping right beside him or farther, and she felt torn. Then his wing came up in an irresistible offering, and her grin widened. Her legs walked of their own accord as she approached him, and she lay down, snuggled up against him. He was warm, soft and she felt completely safe. Nothing was going to hurt her. She sighed in complete happiness, feeling low purr growing from deep within her chest. She just let herself lay there, happier than she ever thought she would be, snuggled under Paytah's huge black wing. . .
OCC: Good for you! [/size] [/teal]

Paytah’s smile was soft and warm as she came closer. When she finally decided to nestle against his side, he let his great wing rest softly on her body. He laid his tail down and arched his black neck, his eyes watching her body as she rested. Perhaps tomorrow they could do something a little more exciting. He had to lift his wing slightly so it wasn’t crushing her delicate body. When he heard a low quiet purr, a smile brought itself upon his lips. He laid his head down in the soft grass, listening to the sound of both their hearts beating in harmony. He curled his body protectively around Amara before he finally let a sigh of relief.
He was tired, Amara was safe, it seemed like the perfect time to sleep. His teal eyes closed, and he let out a soft groan as his body loosened. The thought of Amara purring with him made him happy. At least she was comfortable around him. He curved his head so he could watch the blue Fae sleep. She was at complete rest, and she still looked beautiful. He closed his eyes once more and let his body fall into the soft hands of sleep. Comments: I got to go o Walmart, sorry this post is bad. Mood: Tired and Hungry Thoughts:Eh… Paytah’s thoughts: Lay your head to slee, feel at peace and feel safety at my side.

[teal]The feeling of being by Paytah's side was intense, incomparable, complicated. The only thing she felt sure about, was that she couldn't feel happier at that moment. His huge wing laying protectively on her, his curled around her, the sound of his beating heart close by and the soft breaths he took contributed to make the moment incredibly good for sleep. Yet, she still had time to think about what was coming tomorrow, the incredible moments she knew she would live, the pure chance she had to find such a great male. . . A real luck she didn't think she deserved. But God had decided she was worthy to be granted such a gift, or maybe was it just that she had been in the right place at the right time.
Whatever happened, she didn't regret leaving with him. Whatever happened, she didn't regret spending such good time with him. Whatever happened, she would always think about him, and how she loved him. Whatever happened, she wouldn't leave him. She didn't know what the future would reserve, but it promised years of happiness, and it was on that reassuring thought that sleep overcame her, and she plunged into the depths of sleep. [/teal]

Paytah gazed up at the sky, his heart throbbing violently in his chest. The firmament was murky scarlet, dragons soaring throughout the atmosphere, flames shelling from their jaws. The black brute’s eyes widened when he saw two dragons crush into each other, ripping wings, biting each other’s necks. Soon one of them fell like a stone, and the other one roared loudly in victory. The sound was cut short when a larger dragon came behind and clamped his jaws on the small dragon’s neck, severing the head.
Paytah’s massive body leaped into the air, and he gained altitude with his large wings. He was bigger than most of the dragons, but that didn’t stop the attack. A medium size silver male sped through the sky, smashing his body in Paytah’s. The black brute snarled loudly and snapped open his jaws, a wild roar along with rapid fire flew from his body, hitting the opposing male hard.
Teal eyes glowing in anger, he watched the burnt body fall to the ground lifeless. A snarl former into a roar as Paytah arched his neck, clawing at the sky. He was in his homelands, fighting in the war. Smaller dragons all attached themselves to the black brute, ripping at his scales, trying to get down to his flesh. Paytah closed his wings and dove towards the ground, sending his body into a spiral. Most of the dragons came off, but he had to cuff the rest with his massive paws. Opening his wings and arching his body, he came to the ground hard, losing his balance. The sudden rush of the earth beneath his paws shoved him to the ground. His body tumbled helplessly down a sheer mountain that suddenly seemed to appear.
His wings were being crushed every time his large body landed on them. It seemed like forever, when finally the world through his hard onto a rock surface. A loud groan of pain pressed from his maw, and he dragged his head against the ground. His tongue slipped out between his sharp teeth and he licked his maw, tasting blood. His heart was beating hard when he opened his eyes. He swallowed hard and sat up. The cave. Amara. Quickly standing, Paytah staggered over toward the cave. “Amara,” He called his voice cracking. He stumbled to the back of the cavern, his eyes searching for the blue Fae. He stopped when he saw her body, the sounds of faint roars echoing into the cave. Slowly, Paytah approached, his teal eyes starting to wet. Her body…it was… lifeless. Paytah continued to move closer, but as soon as he tried to reach down and touch her cold body, his eyes snapped open.
Light shoved into his teal orbs and he closed his eyes tight. Opening his jaws, he let out a quiet yawn before he licked his maw. He lifted his head from the ground and he looked around, the small cave lit from the morning light. Suddenly he thought of Amara. He quickly looked over and saw her, still huddled up against him, still under his warm embrace, still safe. He arched his neck, stretching his muscles. He laid his head down near Amara’s resting body, his eyes gentle on her carcass. He watched her breath; he listened to her heart beat. Today was going to be a good day, he could tell. Though his dream…It was haunting him. He had seen Amara, dead. The thought of that actually happening split his heart. He shook the thought away, all that he wanted was to see Amara’s smiling face.
Comments: Oh my gosh, I don’t know what is happening! I had amazing muse, and I was using big words…But, I just lost my trail of thought…Haha, I hope I get it back! [red]I walked a lonely road, The only I had ever known. . . [/red]
[green]_____________________________________________[/green] [/center] She was in the beautiful oblivion of the world of dreams, but the only thing she was seeing, were the moments that she thought she had had with Paytah. When he had asked her to come with him at the beach, the flight, visiting her new home, the evening in the cave. . . But that all couldn't be real, could it? It was way too good to be true. . . That was what had just ruined her wonderful dream. She cursed that sliver of dream that had just ruined all the rest. She woke up suddenly, but left her eyes closed. The first thing she noticed was the nice warmth that was around her body. That was the sun at the beach, she told herself. Yes, that made sense, she had fallen asleep at the beach, and now it was still sunny. But that couldn't be right, the light filtering through her eyes was much too dim to be in the sunlight. But she had been resting in the shade. That didn't explain the heat though, it even contradicted it. She was so concentrated on untangling where she was, that she didn't notice Paytah's huge heart beating by her side. Suddenly realizing she could hear two hearts beating in harmony, she forced her eyes open, feeling her heart was going to burst with happiness. All that happened was real. Her eyes flicked to Paytah's eyes, which were open and were looking at her. Her eyes locked with his, and she grinned widely. Yes, this was better than any other dream. . .[/blockquote] [/size]

While Paytah watched Amara sleep, he was thinking. Right now, they were just friends, right? Perhaps, later, they could become more… The thought was tugging at Paytah’s mind while his eyes tugged at her body. He watched her chest rise and fall with every breath, and he locked eyes on her face when he heard her heart jump slightly. His eyes closed half way and he took in a deep breath. Holding it for a few seconds, he listened to their hearts dancing before letting the air from his lungs release. When her eyes opened and she smiled, Paytah felt a smile pull itself onto his muzzle. “Morning,” He whispered quietly, leaving his head on the ground.
His eyes were soft on hers and he left his smile on his face. He just wanted to lay there with her, gazing endlessly into her beautiful eyes. But no, he couldn’t do that. He glanced over and saw he had completely curled up around her, so he moved his tail away, seeing he was basically holding her against him. Now he felt slightly embarrassed, but he hoped she wouldn’t be upset. Lifting his head, he slowly raised his wing off Amara’s delicate body. He closed his eyes tight white he curved his head until it was resting on his neck, and his neck arched back so it was touching his back. He almost looked like he was about to shoot forward and snap at something, but this position was comfortable for him. Almost something a swan would do. His teal eyes shifted and he lifted his head, his talons clawing gently at the grass. “Hungry?” He asked quietly, settling down and placing his head back on the soft grass.
Comments: I’m going to cosco…yippee… Mood: Sore and tired Thoughts: I wonder what’s for lunch… Paytah’s thoughts: A new day a new life, let’s see what we can get out of this.
