Zemar soared through the air as if he was floating on a cloud. He arched his muscled neck and looked down upon his lands, it was still untouched. Still beautiful. Still his. Curving his neck back, he made sure his new Fae was close. Closing his wings, he let his body slow then dive down toward the ground. He opened them quickly just in time before he hit the ground. He shook his body before closing his wings. Turning he looked up to see if she was ready to come down or not. He wanted her to trust him, and to know that he would protect her with his life. Nothing would touch her as long as he was here.

Galaxy had been right on Zemar's tail the whole flight back, eager and excited to see her new home. She'd even slipped ahead of him a few times, quickly falling back. She didn't want to miss a turn or anything like that, considering she had no idea where she was being led. As he slowed, and dove, she followed, spiraling down after him. She landed besides him gracefully, folding her wings against her back. She looked over her new home, a smile on her face. "Its beautiful here," She said happily. It was so different from the land she once lived in-a barren wasteland with a tyrant for a king.

Zemar smiled, "It is," He said quietly. Turning, he looked off up at the mountains. They called to him, begging him to come, but he ignored. Zemar liked to be high up, it reminded him of his mother. Her name was sky, and when Zemar was in the clouds, it was almost as if he could feel her with him.
"Do you need anything, my dear?" He asked turning his head to her. He wanted her to be happy, and safe. "Anything at all, and your needs are my top priority." He said with a smile.

Galaxy looked off at the mountains as he did, admiring them for a moment, before turning her head towards him, as he did the same, and asked if she needed anything. "You've already given me so much, just by bringing me here," She said with a shy smile, "There is nothing pressing I need, though. I would like to take a closer look at my new home, unless you'd care to show me it yourself?" She was sure he would know all the interesting spots, since it was his land, after all. She wanted to know where the best places to hunt were, were the best place to make a den was. She wanted to get settled into her new home as soon as possible.

"Why of course," He said, his voice warm and welcoming. Lucky he had landed by most of the nice places in his Terra. He nudged her gently and started to walk. "There are deer everywhere, but they usually come here." He said stopping. There was a wide open plain with a herd of deer grazing. They had heard him speak and when they caught sight of the two, they bolted.
Zemar let a small chuckled erupt from deep within his chest. "They know a dragon when they see one." He said as he walked on. He remained silent for a few seconds as they passed through the trees, nothing interesting about them. "Here," He started, stepping over a log, "Is the nesting grounds." It was a nice open area along side the mountain. Two large caves curved toward each other where carved into the mountain. The grass was green and flowing in the slight breeze. The area was surrounded by thick forest, so it would be easier to watch for danger.
"I've looked, the caves go in deep and theres a pool of clear water in that one," He said nodding to the cave on the right. "Forgive me," He said with a chuckle, "My land isn't as exciting as most."

As he nudged her, Galaxy walked with Zemar, moving alongside him through the open plain. So this was where she could come to hunt. She watched the herd bolted together, the ground rumbling lightly by their combined movement. "They certainly do," She said, chuckling along with Zemar.
Galaxy moved through the trees with him, gazing around as they walked in silence. As they reached an open area along the mountain, she looked around with interest. It was such an idyllic place, perfect for hatchlings. She looked over at Zemar and smiled, before she moved forward, peeking into the caves. They certainly did go deep, plenty of room for a nest and eggs. "Its far better than the land I used to live on was," She told him, looking back at him and smiling again.

Zemar smiled and nodded. It seemed he couldn't stop smiling in her presence. "I'm glad you like it," He said in a playful tone. "So, Galaxy," He started, wanting her to feel a bt more welcome, "Please, if you ever need anything, it's no trouble." Tilting his head he listened, thinking he had heard something. Turning his head he saw a lone deer wandering around. It was a young doe, a fawn at her side. She didn't seem to notice the dragons at first, but once she saw them, she turned her head and bleated. Another young fawn came back out and the three left together.

Galaxy watched the deer as they left, the second fawn quickly catching up to its mother. Once they were gone, she looked back at Zemar. "I can't think of a thing at the moment," She told him, stretching out before she settled on the grass, lying down while keeping her head, "But if I think of anything, I'll be sure to tell you." She looked up at him with a slight smile on her face. He was very considerate, offering to give her whatever she needed. Most wouldn't go out her way to do something like that.

Zemar nodded and sat down, his long tail coiling around his legs. The sun hit his orange and black scales, cascading a wall of fire orange grass around him. He bent and licked at his scales, but stopped quickly. "So, my dear," He said stretching out his forearms as he settled himself on the ground. "Though we've just met, feel like I've known you..." He tilted his head, but then he smiled, "So tell me a little about yourself, I can't recall us meeting before."

Galaxy could see the light bounce off his scales, reflecting orange onto the grass, making it look like each individual blade look like a lick of flame. It amused her somewhat, to think that every time she looked at him, she was reminded in some way of fire. Surely he must have fire breath. It stood in direct contrast to her, who had been told on more than one occasion, that her color reminded them of water, or ice. "Let's see," She said, trying to think of what to tell him, "I used to live in a land that was barren, and that was ruled over by the worse sort of dragon. He was cruel to us all, a tyrant. I left when just after I was fully ground-I couldn't live like that any more. He sent hunters after me-he did after all those who tried to escape. I managed to get away, and I've been wandering ever since, until today. I've never had a mate, or hatchlings..." She trailed off, looking at him again, "What about you? Tell me about yourself."

Zemar listened caefully, letting every word sink into his body. He was about to ask about the tryant dragon, but he thought it would be rude to bring that up. He smiled, the end of his tail raising and loering repeatedly. "Well, I was born and rasied in the mountain ranges of Saraganu, my mother was the only one that I really ever saw and spoke to. My father died when I was young, so it was just me, my mother and my siblings." Zemar stopped and let out a sigh, "When I was leaving my mother was killed, so I had no choice to go." He looked down for a moment, then looked back up, "You remind me of her, you're just as beautiful as she was." He smiled and shifted his weight so he wasn't on his back leg. "No mate, no hatchlings of my own, I have taken some in though." He shook his head and let a short laugh escape his jaws, "Boring past," He said, looking off to wher the doe and her faws had trailed off.

Galaxy was relieved that he didn't question her further about her past; she really didn't like to talk about it. She just knew he'd probably learn of her past at some point, so she supposed it was best to get it out sooner rather than lately. She listened to his own tale of the past, smiling slightly when he told her he was as beautiful as his mother had been. She was sorry to hear that he had to leave his old home when his mother died. "You've taken hatchlings in?" She said. She had always had a soft spot for hatchlings, and was glad to hear that he hadn't passed one in need by, taking care of it instead. As he looked off to where the deer had gone to, she looked at him. "You know, I'm a bit hungry...want to join me in a hunt?" She asked.

Zemar gave a small smile and he gave a short nod, "Yes several." He stood up and opened one wing slightly before letting it settle back on his side. "But of course my dear," He said bowing his head.
Turning, he walked them back to where the herd of deer usually stay. Before they reached it, Zemar looked over at Galaxy and smiled. Crouching down, his belly grazed the ground as he stalked in the tall grass. His tail swept slowly across the ground as he moved. There was a small herd, about four or five. A young tree point buck was chasing after a doe, pushing his nose against her rump. She kicked out and ran back to the others.
Zemar's golden eyes blinked as his muscles tightened up. Surprised they hadn't seen his bright orange colors, the brute was forced to move. They had walked off in the other direction, their ears flicking and their teeth munching on the grass. It took a few minutes of silence, but Zemar closed in on one of the old does. Her pelt was dirty, there was Grey hairs around her eyes and along her body. By the looks of it, she would be dead in about a week, she seemed to wander and stray from the group.
Might as well end it for the old thing. Once again, to Zemar's surprise, the old deer started to walk toward him. The large dragon laid flat on the ground, trying his best not to be seen. The old doe walked right next to him without noticing. She bumped her face into a tree, obviously showing she couldn't see well. Turning as quiet as he could, Zemar's paw snapped out and hooked the doe's hind legs. Quickly moving forward, he sank his large teeth into the deer's neck when she let out a raspy bleat. Within seconds, Zemar had made one of his famous silent kills. Looking back, the herd was looking toward where he was, but they flicked their ears and loosened their muscles. They went back to their work.
Zemar sniffed the carcass before letting his long tongue slip out between his razor sharp teeth. He licked his muzzle, ridding himself of the blood. No point though, he was just going to get dirty again, eating that is. Satisfied, Zemar laid quietly onto the ground next to his doe. He waited patiently for Galaxy to get hers, and if she didn't she could have his. He wasn't that hungry.

Galaxy crouched low in the tall grass as Zemar did the same, moving swiftly and silently around the small herd, until she had circled around to were the orange dragon was stalking them. She waited, patiently, for Zemar to make his move. When he did, snapping at an old doe, she watched the herd tense and looked toward where he was.
Why they were looking towards Zemar, Galaxy made her move. She moved forward swiftly, snapping at the other old doe in the herd, who hadn't strayed like the others did. It made no matter, though, its fate was the same as the other. Her kill was not as quick or silent as Zemar's, and the herd ran off during her struggle with the doe, but soon enough, she gave a good bite to the deer's neck, killing it.
She lifted the doe in her mouth, carrying it over to where Zemar sat. She set it down, and looked to him, waiting for him to eat first-she was taught that King or Queen always had to eat, at least take the first bite, first.

Zemar finally relaxed when Galaxy caught her deer. Lowering his head, he sank his teeth into the old deer, ripping it open. He ate in silence, his eyes first on his kill, but then back at Galaxy.OCC:no muse
