Endymion flew over the forest, mostly uninterested in the trees below them. It looked like every other forest he'd been too, nothing special about it. That was what he thought, until he neared the center. There, in the midst of the trees, flowing from a forking river in the cliff above, was a group of waterfalls. They were beautiful; and seemed to glimmer as the sun hit them. As he grew closer, he realized that there were gems, crystals off all colors, studding the wall behind the water. He'd never seen anything quite like it; and yet such a unique place was unclaimed by any dragon. It would make such a good home, too, with the large herds of elk and deer he'd seen on his flight through the trees. Making up his mind, he let out a burst of black flames, and then roared loudly, the sound carrying for miles. He was the king of this land now.
