[teal]Now, what were these lands? Where was she? Amara didn't know. Flying high above the lands, the young adult's ocean blue eyes scanned the lands under her, setting in the marble of her memory the configuration of the region. She did that a lot, and since she had been traveling for a long, long time, she had seen many places. It was a sunny day, and the light reflecting of her sky blue scales made them shine. The flight conditions were perfect, moderate winds, no clouds, no rain. . .
Trees whizzed by as the streamline female flew overhead, but she seemed to capture every tree streaming by. A large fish caught her attention when she flew over the ocean, and she thought it could make a perfect meal. Angling her wings carefully, she entered a graceful vertical dive, her body smoothly aligning in a fluid motion. She entered the water smoothly, without creating a splash, the water running of her smooth scales as if it wasn't there. She opened her jaws underwater, and snatched the fish clean out of the watery depths. Her jaw closed mercilessly on the fish, her sharp teeth penetrating deep and killing it. She swam back to shore, her tail acting as a rudder and propeller, acting in harmony with her slender legs. She carried her kill onto shore, and ate quickly. She didn't want another dragon coming to steal her kill.
She didn't mind that other dragons came, in fact, she hoped they would come. She was starting to feel particularly lonely, that having a link with her recent maturity, or her long loner life she didn't know. She just didn't want them to be mean with her. If they fought, she would fight back. She hated to fight, but could do very well when she was in peril, dancing around them, dodging their blows while delivering a scratch of her own. She was fast, not powerful, and agile both in flight and on the ground. She lay down gracefully, and it was clear why her parents had called her "Amara" which meant "grace" in African dialect.
The sun beat hard down on them, it was starting to get hot. She lifted herself up easily and walked to the shade, where her scales didn't reflect light. She loved her splendid blue colour, and was happy to be ocean blue.
All her senses were on alert, she didn't want to be surprised. She liked having company, but her early life as loner had taught to be naturally cautious. Indeed, she never took unnecessary risks, always wanting to live another day. She listened peacefully, taking in the beautiful sounds of the surrounding nature. A smile edged on her lips; life could adapt so well and thrive in the most secluded places. She continued to wait for company, her senses alert to every sound, move, smell, of the animals around her. . .[/teal]

Paytah Breath of Fire Lick of Flame Though we look Different You and I are the same Wings creased along his carcass, Paytah sauntered all along the sand, enjoying the warmth the sun conveyed. His black scales appeared out of place in the midst of the cerulean and gold. Shadowy Teal eyes examined the region, wary of defensive males.
Neck extended and arched, he was really just here to look around. He was new to these lands, so he might as well get to know them. He saw dragons splashing and playing in the water, all different colors. He felt a bit uneasy when more showed up. Well, it was the beach, you cannot expect for dragons not to be here.
A few Faes tried to catch his interest, cooing and purring at him. They seemed to find him attractive, which, Paytah’s notice, have been on more than one occasion. Being kind, although, he flashed them a quick smile and turned his attention away when he heard their squeals of delight. Psst, Faes… He thought.
Trying to make his way through the wave of hatchlings and fledglings, he made his way to the trees without stepping on anyone. Still, his black scales stood out. Not another single dragon on the beach was cursed with the color of death. Soon finding a comfortable spot in the cool sand, he took shelter under a tree, trying his best not to make conversation with anyone. He likes his privacy, but he liked to talk. Paytah was a very confusing dragon, though once you know him; he’s just a big push over, despite his fierce appearance.
His dark eyes looked around, and it was then he saw her. A young blue Fae lay under the shadows, as if he were standing over her. He shifted his body until he was on his side, legs stretched out in the sand. He continued to steal glances at her, but finally turned his head and watched the wave’s crash into each other. [teal]Amara watched silently as other dragons played in the water, others were just relaxing. They were all kinds of shades, but none were black. She didn't think the colour of a dragon had much influence on it's personality, but again, she hadn't met many dragons in her life. She was young, with lots of bright years ahead of her. Or black years. She couldn't control her future. She was hoping to find company, but she was a little hesitant to go in the middle of the crowd. She heard a few faes purring at something on her right, but didn't pay to much attention.
That was, until her ocean blue eyes came to rest on the black dragon that was approaching. Large and attractive, he retained her attention. Not because he stood out, but because he was, well, attractive. He came to rest in the shadows of the trees, and that seemed to make his scales even darker. He kept stealing glances at her, she was slightly timid. She was hesitant to approach him, wondering what his reaction would be. She bit her lip, torn, but she wanted to talk to him.
She got up gracefully, and walked slowly to where he was, laying down a few feet from him. She hesitated again before talking to him. " [blue]Hello. . .[/blue] " she said quietly. She held her breath a bit waiting for his answer. . . [/size] [/teal]

Paytah
Love me alive Love me dead You let me lie here Silent on the Bed Heart beat no more Skin rock hard You just remember You tore us apart
Paytah altered his wings along his carcass as he watched dragons of all varieties spraying and splashing around in the water. He closed his eyes and gave a calm growl when the Faes from earlier started calling to him. He truthfully didn’t desire to look, nor chatter to them. Why couldn’t they comprehend he wasn’t much of the…flirting type? He was more the, keep-out-of-my-face-and-you-can-live, type.
Glancing down at his sharp talons, he dug them deep into sand as would a cat that’s kneading. He stopped when he heard someone walking toward him. He looked away as if he would ignore, his dark blue eyes still watching the ocean. Though, when his eyes shifted to the Fae, he saw who it was. The one he had seen laying under the trees was only feet from him. His face was blank for a moment as she spoke, but he gave a quiet sigh and let his lips curl up into a smile.
Tail dragging along the sand, Paytah let it come around and lay loosely around his body. His eyes scanned the Fae, searching for signs of fear or…well…anything else. Deciding the best thing to do was be polite, he locked eyes with the Fae, “Greetings,” He reply in a warm voice. He may look like a hermit, and he may act like one, but he really isn’t. Most judge him on sight, or within a few of his words, probably why he doesn’t have many friends. Once you really get in under his scales, he can be a joy to have around.
Though at this time, he was focused on the Fae. He kept eye contact with her, watching for any aggressive signs. Paytah knew he could overpower her within seconds, and she could do not much harm to him, he was still on guard. She may be smaller, younger, and female, but he wouldn’t ever underestimate her.[/size]

[teal]Evelyn watched closely as he shifted position slightly, but he was still looking at the ocean. When he saw her, he sort of stopped moving a little bit, hardly noticeable. A few Faes were calling to him, looking particularly flirty. But he didn't seem the type. He seemed more of a keep-to-yourself type of guy. But who was she judging him on appearance only? She didn't know him, hadn't seen him before and she wanted to know him. She didn't really know how he would react.
When his face took a friendly smile, she couldn't help but smile a little shyly. She wasn't the talk to everyone type either. He seemed polite and warm, and that made her a bit less shy. She shifted slightly, not out of fear, but her back leg was tuck under her rather light body. She took it out and placed it on the sand, her claws digging into it. He had changed position too, a bit more relaxed it seemed to her. She came back to a question she wanted to ask, she didn't know where she was. She had been traveling a lot, but had never taken the time to ask where she was. She maintained his gaze, instead of looking down, to be polite.
" [blue]Do you know where we are? I've been traveling a lot, but I haven't taken the time to ask where I am.[/blue] " she asked, keeping her tone conversationally polite. Suddenly, she heard a dragon running toward her. She looked at her right, and saw two fledglings running full pelt toward her. The first one wasn't looking, so she got up just in time to get out of the way, and they throttled between her long slim legs. She lay down again, and looked a little apologetically at the brute.
A guy like him must have a name. She had a little fun imagining what names he could have, before just resorting to asking his true one. " [blue]What is your name?[/blue] " trying to keep her tone polite, and conversational only. She wasn't scared of him, but she wasn't completely comfortable with him either. She kept eying him, wondering if he was going to lunge at her. He would certainly overpower her quickly, but she was very fast, she might have a chance at fleeing. She continued to look at him waiting for his answer. . .[/teal]

Paytah
Watch me closely Love me till no end Stay with me for ever Don’t just come every now and again Paytah watched the Fae suspiciously, but she appeared to calm down as did he. He kept his mug even when her introverted grin emerged on her maw. He paused a while before speaking. He was thinking, thinking about this Fae ahead of him. She seemed calm and silent, possibly a bit shy. He knew for a fact she was adolescent, so he sought to do his best not to scare her. “You’re at Sandset Bay,” He said after his, ‘moment’. “Where dragons come to join asylums, meet others, socialize…”
His head turned just at the blue Fae’s and he saw the fledglings running dead on at her. His muscles tightened and he sat up quickly, ready to stop them. He couldn’t help but let a deep growl erupt from deep within his chest. He glared as they ran off, his body still up right. Perhaps his patience wasn’t very high with young ones, but he wasn’t the kind that will go and kill them.
He glanced down at the female, but looked away. Slowly but surely, he came back down to resting in the cool sand. Her question hit him and he turned his black head again. Paytah shifted again, feeling his weight on his tail. Moving his long whipcord out of the way, he returned to her question. “Paytah.” He said, eyes bolting with hers once more. A smile soon reappeared onto his face, though he still was angered about how rude those young dragons were. [/color][/size] OCC:no muse

[teal]Amara pondered the information he had given her, and appreciating the fact that for once she knew where she was. She thought a moment about getting permanent here, but the thought of being around males sent shivers down her spine. They were half from discomfort at the thought, half of excitement, she couldn't tell which one was more dominant. Maybe when she was older she could come to find a clan here, or maybe this large male had one. She looked at him thoughtfully, wondering if she would be happy if he claimed her. She wasn't strongly against being claimed, though she would like it to be done by a dragon that was kind, not a tyrant. Her beautiful head turned slightly as she got up to dodge the fledglings the large male dragon in front of her released a low growl. She ignored that, noticing he patience might be lacking with young ones. But she understood them, they didn't mean to.
She watched, not at all afraid, as the brute came to rest in the sand once more, noticing how powerful he seemed, and probably was. She had a more wiry, streamline build, giving her amazing speed, both in the air and on the run. Plus, her light-weight frame made her silent, undetectable. When she wanted to of course. When she wanted, she could create an amazing racket, a roar often, that made birds fly out of the trees nearby. She often puffed her chest when threatened, to make her look bigger. Not that it helped that much, but she couldn't help it, it was instinctual.
When he told her his name, she smiled a little bit. Paytah, it was a beautiful name. She murmured it under her breath just to get her tongue around it. " [blue]You have a beautiful name Paytah.[/blue] " she said truthfully. " [blue]I'm Amara. [/blue]" she added, smacking herself mentally for not having said it earlier. She prized being polite. Her ocean blue eyes locked contact with his, and she noticed a smile come back on his face. She smiled too, her grin expanding as she heard a fight between two young ones on the beach near the water. She didn't know why but that amused her, maybe because she happened to do that a lot to her parents when she had some.
OCC: It's understandable. [/size] [/teal]

Paytah
Say you love me Say you hate me What ever you do Don't leave... Paytah curved his head and watched the female, his teal eyes glimmering with wonder. A smile smacked itself upon his maw when she complimented his name. He nodded slightly, the tip of his tail raising and lowering impatiently. He wasn’t upset by the Fae’s presence, and he honestly enjoyed it. He was just…different. What if- what if she ended up coming back with him to his lands? The though clouded his mind, and he closed his eyes briefly. He was jerked roughly from his thoughts when the blue Fae spoke yet again.
Her name. It was…Different, like his. The name Amara was a lovely name, and Paytah thought deeply of it. It seemed as if both their names were tossed randomly into the world, along with their slick carcasses. Or, maybe it took time to form. Maybe someone put thought in them. Pulling himself from his thoughts once again, he opened his eyes. “The name is as lovely as yourself,” He said, his tone even and calm. Another smile came onto his face, but snapped away quickly when something smashed his side. Turning his head, he saw a young juvenile male looking up at him in horror. The sides of Paytah’s lips raised and he flashed his razor sharp fangs. “I suggest you watch where your feeble legs take you.” He growled, slowly rising to his feet. “It may lead to trouble.” The young male stood horrified, staring up at Paytah in awe and fascination. “I-I’m s-s-sorry,” The fledgling stammered, utterly entrenched to place.
Paytah’s scales rattled as his wings raised slightly, claws digging deep into the sand. The large black dragon’s dark teal eyes wandered to the blue Fae. Stepping back from the hatchling, he refrained from cuffing the small being. His lips lowered and a smirk appeared on his face as his wings settled back onto his massive black body. “Go on,” He said, a chuckle coming from within his chest, “I believe your friends are waiting,” Paytah said, nodding his muzzle slightly to the group of hatchlings that stood and watched together.
The young one in front of the two adults gave Paytah a quick smiled before running for his life. He ran to his group, and Paytah could faintly hear their conversation.
“That was so cool!”
“Did you see how big he got?”
“I thought you were lunch meat!”
“That was amazing!”
A smiled crept fully onto Paytah’s maw as he watched the group run off, continuing to speak of how their friends encounter was so, ‘cool’. The brutes eyes traveled to the female and he sat down quickly. “Forgive me,” He murmured, his tone apologetic, “I have little tolerance for hatchlings.” He turned his head and watched the group do a small reenactment of what had happened, a small green dragon playing Paytah’s role. Letting his muscles loosen, he relaxed fully and sank down into the sand again, his head high. He hoped he hadn’t upset Amara.

[teal]Amara saw the smile appear on his face, and she felt good of having made him happy, if he wasn't faking. She doubted he was faking, even though it was possible, he didn't seem the type. He closed his eyes briefly, and she wondered what he was thinking. Her blue gaze locked on him with a mix of admiration and awe, he was so nice, on the inside and on the outside. True, he was enormous, and to anything smaller, herself included, he could be scary. But she wasn't scared because she was starting to know him. When he opened his eyes again, she noticed how beautiful teal colour they were. In the same blue family, but more greenish, and darker. She loved colours, they were. . . Reinvigorating.
At his compliment, if she could have blushed, she would have been as red as a beetroot. She smiled, her blue lips pulling up to reveal sharp fangs. " [blue]Thanks, I could say the same about you.[/blue] " she said slightly embarrassed. It was true, he was nice, and his name too. It was funny how names could be representative of dragons. A bit like Rocky, a name that would go to a dragon that is particularly tough. She didn't really know why her parents called her 'Amara'. The only thing she knew was that it meant 'grace' in Africa. But could it have been so apparent even from hatch? She doubted. She was shaken from the confines of her mind by the sound of a dragon running, and she looked just in time to see a young male crash into Paytah's flank.
She wasn't very surprised to see his snarl and his voice so menacing. She would probably act the same. She wasn't the most patient dragon in the area, but it might come with age. She was only 202 years old after all, barely an adult. Might as well call her adolescent. The young dragon seemed rooted to the spot, looking at Paytah with awe and fascination, a bit like she felt. Paytah seemed to take advantage of that, and slowly rose to his feet, spreading his wings slightly, making him look (even though he probably didn't know) utterly terrifying. She merely watched, her facial features impossible to read. She was surprised to see him back off, he was a bit confusing. But it was correct, he taught a lesson to the young one, without hurting him.
The young male ran off, and she grinned when she heard their conversation. They seemed to think their friend had been in some terrifying adventure, with all their 'amazing's and 'cool's. Shifting her attention to Paytah again, she watched as he sat down. " [blue]It's OK, I would have probably done the same thing. I don't have lots of patience either. [/blue]" she said after he had finished speaking. She turned her head at the same time as he did, watching as a playful grin appeared on her face. One day, they would be dragons maybe as big as Paytah. For now they were small, herself included. She was small, but built for speed, so it sort of compensated. She turned her attention back to Paytah, and smiled again, not wanting him to feel bad. . .[/teal]

Paytah’s vision transferred from Amara to the ocean. The waves fought, crashing into each other, fighting for the chance to rush up onto the beach. The smell, the sight, everything about the ocean brought Paytah in. He enjoyed it, the smell of the ocean spray, tickling his maw as dew drops flung themselves at his large body. The massive black brute turned yet again, finally his beautiful eyes landing on Amara once more. He opened his jaws to speak, but he remained silent. Instead, another smile crept onto his muzzle. This Fae was more like him than he had thought. She had low tolerance, she seemed lonely. Perhaps they should spend more time together, it may do them good. Or it may do them bad, what if they fought? Paytah wouldn’t want to hurt Amara, no never. But, he had a slight temper, and if it snapped, he wouldn’t know what he would do.
“I do recall you mentioning you were traveling,” He said, his wings shifting so his weight wasn’t on them when he lay on his side. He laid one paw over the other, his talons digging into the cool sand. “May I ask where you travel from?” He questioned, his head tilting slightly. Paytah wanted to start up some kind of conversation with her, Amara seemed very…Interesting to him. Thoughts raced through his mind as he waited patiently for her answer. Where has she come from? A beautiful Fae such as herself couldn’t have possibly come from a place like Dissent Mountain. What of his homeland? What if she came from there too? He hadn’t thought about that, he’d never seen her. And he was there for most of his life.
Another thought pushed through his mind. What if…she came with him, back to his lands? Paytah would enjoy the company, and perhaps she would too. But, what if she was threatened by his offer? He could never see or hear from her again. The thought tore at his mind, but he shook it away. He smiled and locked eyes with the Fae, his own blue orbs smiling for themselves.

[teal]Amara watched as he looked at the waves. She stared without seeing, lost in thoughts, looking at the waves crashing wildly like mountains of white foam and blue water. Her thoughts were only about the handsome male in front of her, Paytah. Did he have lands? Or was he a bachelor? She doubted a male so fine and imposing would be a bachelor. In front of her dilemma, she chased the thoughts out of her head. If he did ask her to go to his lands with him, she would probably accept. No, she would accept certainly, she had a good picture now of him. Her gaze shifted from the ocean to Paytah, who had just opened his maw, as if to speak, but stayed mute. She tilted her head, wondering what he was about to say. She had to admit to herself, she was hoping he would ask her to come to his lands with him.
When he did speak, she nodded in agreement, she was traveling. She was hoping to get permanent but for now she was a nomad. At his question, she hesitated, since she didn't know the name of the place she came from. She recalled a place high in mountains, bitter cold and wild underbrush. It had been teeming with prey, but the conditions were rough. "[blue] I don't know the name of the place I come from. I just remember great mountains with snow on their peak all year round, bitter cold conditions, with lots of wind, wild underbrush and lots of prey. I had to leave it though, my parents died. [/blue]" she said quietly, the last few words barely more than a whisper. Those words had torn open the wound she had been nursing since then, but she shook the pain off by thinking of Paytah.
She thought about leaving with him again. She just couldn't stop it nagging her brain with an edge of hope. Yes, she hoped he would bring her. She would love to have a little company in life, she was very lonely, having been alone since her parents died. She needed a place to call home, and she really liked the handsome male with a charming personality. He was a bit like her, a bit short-patience but still welcoming. She locked her gaze with his again, noticing how happy his magnificent teal orbs looked. She enjoyed his company too, and she smiled warmly. She would hate to have to separate herself from him. Not now that she knew him enough to know that he was very nice. . .[/teal]

Paytah
A smiling face A dying soul Paytah wished he could take back what he said. Hearing of her dead parents, the black brute felt terrible for asking. His eyes focused on her, not wanting her to look so down hearted. He lifted his left wing off his side put let it rest back into place. He ached to fly; it was where he felt most comfortable, in the air.
“I’m terribly sorry to hear that,” Paytah said, his tone full of worry and sorrow. It was his fault for asking, but it’s too late to turn back. Paytah had to come from lands, with sometimes an unknown name. Many dragons gave it different names, but all Paytah called it, was home. He missed it, mostly because that is where his family resided. Paytah had left because a war started. Lights against dark, black against white, night against day. A war is raging on, and he escaped. His mother and father are part of the council; it’s their duty to stay there. His mother told him to run, and he did, though he desperately wanted to stay and help fight.
Tilting his head, he flooded his mind once again with thoughts of Amara. Was it too soon to ask her? Conceivably it was, but Paytah felt as if he couldn’t wait. He wanted to ask now, but he held himself back. “A migrant,” He suggested, “Perhaps you’d like to stop wandering.” He said, a hint of nervousness brimming his voice. He blinked his orbs and tilted his head to the side slightly. Thoughts of Amara continued to flow in and out of his mind, the two in his land, together. He could see her face, it was…happy. Paytah’s heart warmed at the thought of seeing her happy yet again. Even though her parents have died, Paytah wanted to find some way to make her feel better. A Fae as beautiful and warm hearted as herself shouldn’t be sad, or alone for that matter.
“Amara,” He started, eyes pushing into hers. It was almost memorizing, looking into Amara’s eyes. “I’ve wanted to ask for some time now.” He waited a few seconds before continuing, “Would you accompany me back into my lands, and join my asylum?” He asked. Now, he was nervous. What if she denied, then he would have just embarrassed himself. His beat beat quickened as he waited for her answer. Join him, or leave him in the dust.

[teal]Amara noticed he seemed to be feeling terrible for asking, but he couldn't know. She didn't hold him responsible for her pain, or for having brought it up, since it was her that had said that. She smacked herself mentally about having said that, but he would have found out sooner or later. " [blue]Don't feel bad, I'm the one to have said that. [/blue]" her voice quiet. She didn't want to see him sad, he was to nice to deserve that. At his words, a sad little smile stretched her lips but she kept silent. Then she noticed something. He seemed to be burning to ask something, he seemed nervous, but the second later, he seemed happy. She tilted her head on the side, curious. Then he spoke, and it seemed to have a hint of something else.
Yes, she did want to get permanent. She was starting to get tired of traveling alone all the time. Always on the edge, alert, watching her back so much she nearly couldn't sleep. . .That was not her type of life. It was a permanent vigilance twenty-four hour job, to save her own life. She was a little more relaxed now, because she was bigger, and any animal that was stupid enough to get to close got killed. It was tougher when she was younger, she was smaller, and nearly couldn't hunt, so she had to eat left-overs of kills of other predators. " [blue]Yes, I am hoping to get permanent, I'm tired of traveling. [/blue]" she said. She wanted to get permanent in his company. He was lovely, charming, gentle, beautiful. . . Yes, she wanted his company.
When he said her name again, she noticed the full nervousness of his voice. Her heart fluttered with anticipation. Was he going to ask her now? At that her heart seemed to get a kick start, and started beating at a rate she thought was going to tire it after two seconds. Fortunately, it held and continued beating wildly with excitement. When he spoke again, wild hope sprouted in her mind, quickly growing to a tree of mixed emotions. He waited a few seconds before continuing, and she felt it was like eternity. Finally, he asked. It felt to her as if every problem in her life was now gone, disappeared. It was like someone had dropped nicely warmed embers in her chest, spreading the warmth throughout her body. She felt. . . Fantastic.
She didn't hesitate and a huge grin spread across her maw, her eyes and face showing the true joy she felt. " [blue]Paytah, of course. [/blue]" she said feeling as if her heart was going to burst with delight. Her blue eyes locked with his, they were clearly telling that she would follow him to the end of the earth if he asked her. She wasn't going anywhere without him. Then she thought of the other Faes that had wanted to catch his attention. She shot a sly glance toward them, and noticed they seemed sour to see them together. She resisted the urge to giggle and throw them a sneering smile. One of them looked at her and glared, Amara just had a huge smile on her face. Her dream had come true. She was going to leave with her own prince charming and not be claimed by a tyrant like she had feared.
She shifted to a more sitting position, ready to fly off wherever his lands were, still smiling. She was truly happy, and felt lucky. She had fallen on a good male, not only beautiful, but kind and gentle. . .[/teal]

Paytah
I'm excited To start a new life With you
Paytah let his smile grow broad at her response. His eyes traveled along with hers and he saw the females who cooed and purred at him earlier. They sat, mumbling to each other, their eyes burning into Amara’s body. They obviously didn’t know why he chose her instead of them. Paytah had chosen her, mostly because she was like him. The Faes who wanted to flirt with him earlier stood and walked away, snouts raised, obviously showing him they were upset.
Paytah couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, seeing the two walk off. He sat up, his muscles tight and ready to fly. “Make sure you don’t get lost,” He chortled gently, sarcasim sinking into his voice. He wouldn’t leave Amara for a second, he would carry her there if he must. She honestly didn’t seem that heavy to him. But, then again, he was enormous campared to her, and she seemed as if she had only become an adult a few years go.
The black brute opened his impressive wings and stood back from Amara, just so he wouldn’t hit her. He wad to walk out from under the trees, he was too big to beable to fit through the canopy. Flapping, his slowly raised off the ground, stirring quite a bit of sand as he did. Though he raised into the air quickly and elegantly. He hovered high above the beach, Amara just a spec of blue against the yellow. He let a smile onto his face and waited for her to join him in the sky, and join him in a new life.

[teal]Amara let her smile match his, a broad happy expression. She was happier now than she had ever been, and she knew she would be even happier when she reached her new home. She turned to watch the other Faes, and she almost sneered at them when they walked away. The result was that they seemed even more offended, and she felt extatic. Not because she had just hurt other Faes, but because she was going off to a new life. She wondered what her new home was like, and hoped that it was nice. But even if it wasn't nice, she would like it since Paytah would be there. She watched him sit up, and imitated him, laughing at his sarcasm. " [blue]Don't worry, I'll stick to you like a magnet. [/blue]" she said playfully.
She jumped to her feet and walked to the edge of the trees, spreading out her velvet blue wings. She crouched and launched herself gracefully into the sky, her body taking a long streamline form. Her wings flapped powerfully, and she was climbing fast. She joined Paytah, who was hovering over the beach, and circled him, whizzing around his body. She was careful not to get to close, so that she wouldn't get knocked out of the sky by his powerful wings. A last thing to do before she went, she looked down at the other Faes and smiled, mouthing: "Don't worry, you'll get one one day.. They seemed to understand and their heads dropped sadly. She winked and focused her attention on Paytah again, wondering where he was going to take her.
She hovered in the sky, her body acting in harmony to ensure the less loss of energy possible for she didn't how far away were his lands. Maybe there was mountains like in her homeland, or maybe there were none. She didn't care really, she just knew she would be happy. Everything seemed to be contributing to make the moment perfect. The flying conditions were perfect, the birds chirruped louder than before, the dragons on the beach seemed to be playing with more enthusiasm. Or, maybe it just her who was happy, and had a brighter perception of things. She examined the area on the horizon with her eagle-like blue eyes, her eyes closing to savour the wind created by Paytah brushing her face, the hot sun's rays reflecting on her ocean scales, sending an impression of warmth down her spine.
She looked at Paytah again, opening her eyes, not wanting to lose him from view. She hovered closer, admiring the dark teals beautiful eyes that were his. . .[/teal]
